Hour by Hour

7:30

Pike Place, before the crowds

Coffee at Storyville overlooking the market sign, watch the vendors set up, first salmon toss of the day.

10:00

Overlook Walk โ†’ Waterfront

Descend the new stair-park to Elliott Bay. Seattle Aquarium if you have kids; otherwise just breathe the salt air.

12:30

Lunch in the C-ID

Light rail two stops south. Pho, BBQ pork over rice, or hand-pulled noodles. Snack run through Uwajimaya after.

15:00

Seattle Center

Space Needle or โ€” hot take โ€” skip it and do Chihuly Garden & Glass instead. The glasshouse at dusk is unreal.

18:00

Kerry Park golden hour

Ten-minute climb up Queen Anne. The photo you came for: Needle, skyline, Rainier if she's out.

20:00

Dinner + nightcap, Capitol Hill

Walk-ins at the bar are the local move. End at Canon or a dive on Pike/Pine, depending on your constitution.

Need to know

  • Book Chihuly Garden & Glass tickets online โ€” the timed-entry queue in person can eat 30 minutes you don't have.
  • Kerry Park has maybe a dozen parking spots and no lot; arrive 20 minutes before sunset or plan to circle.
  • The C-ID hop is one Link light rail stop from Westlake or two from Pioneer Square โ€” tap your ORCA card, don't drive.
